MITIGASI BENCANA DEBU VULKANIK MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERPENDEKATAN SETS IPA TERPADU KOMPETENSI TATA SURYA

Approach to teaching science in Christian Credo Junior High School, Kolongan Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province is still practiced in conventional way and teacher centered that makes students less interested in learning. Moreover , lack of teaching materials linked to theoretical concepts and even was not related with daily life. Submission of the concept of science still be taught separately, and the unavailability of an integrated science learning tools should be developed learning tools approaching SETS integrated science for mitigation of volcanic ash. The validity of the study is determined by experts and declared valid by the experts. Achievement test instrument is valid for 25 items grain problem, and achievement test instrument reliability is expressed very high. Developed an effective learning device used in the study because 75% of the students are very actively involved in the learning process and achieve predetermined KKM and there is an increase in the value of the pretest and posttest. Learning device developed in this study has a very good (A) criteria seen from the response of the students and teachers of the learning device.
